Wow! Congratulations to everyone who discovered a plastic-free solution this July, it has been an incredible year of global change! 

We have seen people from every corner of the world make a difference by finding creative and adaptable ways to reduce their single use plastic, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many highlights so far have included people making simple changes at home, learning new skills, being creative in reusing items, organising a community initiative and supporting local businesses as they do the right thing for the environment. 

And now simply by sharing your story via our website you go in the draw for the chance to win one of three books ‘Plastic Free: The inspiring story of a global movement and why it matters’ personally autographed by our founder and co-author Rebecca Prince-Ruiz.

Did you know? People are still signing up to the challenge now – so it’s not too late to encourage your friends and family to get involved and grow your impact. Nine out 10 participants end up creating long-term habits that last far beyond July so your influence will have lasting impact for the environment. 

How to share your #plasticfreestory

Whether it was your first challenge or tenth we’d love to hear from you. It’s easy to submit your story and remember to include a photo (just check with anyone in the photo for permission first). 

It doesn’t matter whether your story is big or small – by celebrating and sharing your #plasticfreestories we can inspire others to join us during the year.
